Punjab Assembly session due on June 3
A notification from the assembly secretariat says that the session will commence at 2 pm

Lahore: Speaker Malik Muhammad Ahmed Khan on Wednesday convened a session of the Punjab Assembly on June 3 (Monday)after a requisition submitted by the opposition.
According to a notification from the assembly secretariat, the session will commence at 2 pm. The agenda includes discussions on the law and order situation as well as other pressing issues.
In the previous session, the government passed the controversial "Punjab Defamation Bill 2024" amid significant protests from the opposition and the journalist community. The bill aims to curb the spread of false, fabricated, and fictitious news through print, electronic, and social media in the province.
