Mehdi Hasan added, ‘Imagine being this ignorant and conspiratorial and elected’

Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Hina Parvez Butt reshared British-American broadcaster Mehdi Hasan's X post and made a ridiculing statement on it.
Mehdi Hasan couldn't stop laughing when PML-N leader Hina Parvez claimed that former Prime Minister Imran Khan paid money to Mehdi Hasan for an interview for his media company 'Zeteo'.
Hina Parvez Khan, who is active in highlighting the activities of PML-N on social media, shared a screenshot of Hasan's interview link with the caption 'Take money, give an interview'.

Mehdi, in response to Hina’s post, said: “Paid” on the post below means it’s a post only for paid subscribers to Zeteo.
He also wrote: “This Pakistani politician from the governing party is pushing a conspiracy theory that I was ‘paid’ to do my interview with Imran Khan”.
Mehdi Hasan added, ‘Imagine being this ignorant and conspiratorial and elected’.
Of course, if the big conspiracy to pay Zeteo to interview Imran Khan was active, the word 'paid' would never have been written for anyone to read, he added.
