Karachi: The anti-polio campaign across Sindh and Punjab will start from today (Monday).
The Sindh's anti-polio campaign will continue from June 3 to 9, in which around 5.4 million children will be administered polio drops.
During the anti-polio campaign, more than 35,000 workers will participate and more than 4,000 personnel will be responsible for the security of the polio team.
Anti-polio campaign will also be started in Lahore, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Multan, Mianwali and Okara from today.
The head of anti-polio program Punjab has warned that the summer season is very alarming for the polio virus as it spreads in hot weather.
