Lahore: The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) arrested 44 people including two terrorists of the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) during Intelligence-Based Operations (IBOs) in various cities of Punjab.
According to the details, spokesperson CTD Punjab said that 794 intelligence-based operations were conducted during the month of May.
The operation was conducted in Lahore, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Faisalabad, Narowal, Sialkot, Khanewal, Mandi Bahauddin, Jhang, Rahim Yar Khan, Bahawalpur, told the spokesperson.
He also added that two terrorists of the banned TTP have been arrested from Lahore, saying that during the operations, a total of 44 people were arrested.
