Lahore: The Meteorological Department has predicted rain and storm in different parts of the country from today to June 7.
The Meteorological Department has issued a rain alert, according to which weak westerly winds will enter the upper and central regions from June 4. Due to this system, there is a possibility of gales, squalls and thundershowers in different parts of the country.
The meteorological department said that there will be rain in Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, Islamabad, Gujranwala, Okara, Faisalabad and Khushab. While wind and rain are also likely in Bahawalpur, Dera Ghazi Khan, Multan and Leh.
Apart from this, thundershowers have also been predicted in Jacobabad, Larkana, Quetta and Barkhan.
According to the meteorological department, there is fear of damage to standing crops and weak infrastructure due to the wind.
