Karachi: An industrialist has been shot dead by shooting at a car in broad daylight in the posh area Defense Housing Authority (DHA) of Karachi.
According to the police, investigations are underway to ascertain whether the incident was the result of robbery resistance or target killing.
Police stated that the man riding the car on the way towards his house and could not maintain his balance as soon as the shooting started and the car collided with a truck standing on the left side of the road.
According to the police, the relatives told the police that the deceased was coming home after withdrawing money from the bank and was targeted on the way.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) South said that as soon as the incident was reported, a heavy police force reached the spot and collected the evidence. The person in the vehicle was identified as Asif Sulaiman, who was an industrialist by profession.
