The local unit settled at Rs278.20 against the greenback

Karachi: The Pakistani rupee gained Re0.19, or 0.07%, against the US dollar in the interbank market on Friday.
The local unit settled at Rs278.20 against the greenback, according to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
On Thursday, the rupee had closed at Rs278.39 after losing Re0.09.
