ICC T20 World Cup 2024: Pakistan opt to bowl first against India today
The both sides are excited to show amazing performance in today’s match at Nassau County International Cricket ground in New York
New York: Pakistan won the toss and decided to bowl first against India at Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York on Sunday.
Babar Azam said they are quite determined to show amazing performance. He made the decision to bowl first keeping in view the situation after the rain.
Earlier the rain caused concerns among the fans.
It is 19th match of ICC T20 World Cup 2024.
The fans are quite excited for the match.
The ICC hopes the 34,000-seater stadium, constructed in just five months at a significant cost, will be packed to showcase cricket's excitement to the American audience.
Imad Wasim, who missed Pakistan's match against the USA due to a rib-cage injury, has been declared fit by head coach Gary Kirsten and will play against India. Azam Khan, who was dismissed for a golden duck in Dallas, may be dropped from the lineup.
Pakistan earlier lost to the USA while India won against the Ireland.
