The ISPR says the vehicle was attacked with an improvised explosive device (IED) in Lakki Marwat area on Sunday (today)

Rawalpindi: At least seven soldiers including a captain were martyred in a terrorists attack on a security force vehicle in Lakki Marwat on Sunday.
Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) of the Pakistan Army said that the vehicle was attacked with an improvised explosive device (IED). Among the martyrs were Captain Muhammad Faraz Ilyas from Kasur and Subedar Major Muhammad Nazir. Also martyred were Lance Naik Muhammad Anwar and Lance Naik Hussain Ali.
The ISPR further stated that soldiers Asadullah, Manzoor Hussain and Rashid Mahmood also sacrificed their lives for the country.
The military’s media wing said that a sanitization operation is ongoing to eliminate terrorists in the area. “Such sacrifices by our brave soldiers only strengthen our resolve,” it added.
