Rawalpindi: The funeral prayers of those who were martyred in the attack on the vehicle of the security forces were performed in Lakki Marwat.
According to Inter-Service Public Relations (ISPR) of Pakistan Army, funeral prayer of Captain Muhammad Faraz Ilyas, Subedar Major Muhammad Nazir, Lance Naik Muhammad Anwar, Lance Naik Hussain Ali, Sepoy Asadullah, Sepoy Manzoor Hussain, Sepoy Rashid Mehmood was offered in Bannu.
ISPR stated that Corps Commander Peshawar, serving officers, jawans and the general public participated in the funeral prayer.
According to the Public Relations Department of Pakistan Army, after the funeral prayers, the bodies of the martyrs were sent to their native areas. The martyrs will be buried with full military honors.
ISPR added that the security forces are committed to ending the scourge of terrorism, and the sacrifices of our brave martyrs further strengthen our resolve.
