After the orders of the court, the arrested poet Ahmed Farhad was transferred to Jail
Muzaffarabad: A court in Muzaffarabad Monday ordered Kashmiri poet and journalist Ahmed Farhad to be transferred to jail on judicial remand and directed to produce again on June 24.
Poet Ahmed Farhad was presented before the court by the Muzaffarabad police after the completion of remand.
Instead of requesting further remand, the police presented Farhad's incomplete challan in the court.
After the orders of the court, the arrested poet Ahmed Farhad was transferred to Rara Jail.
It is pertinent to note that Ahmed Farhad is in the custody of Sadar police station in Muzaffarabad. He was brought to the court to extend the remand by the police.
After the judicial remand, a heavy contingent of police moved poet Ahmed to Rara Jail under strict security.
