Gas bowser breached road divider and collided with a vehicle before falling into a ditch


Kalalr Kahar: At least six people were killed after two vehicles collided with each other and plunged into a ditch near Kallar Kahar Salt Range on Monday, rescuers and the motorway police said.
According to a National Highway and Motorway Police (NHMP) spokesperson, the victims died on the spot in the aftermath of the unfortunate accident. He said that preliminary findings suggested that the incident took place because of the brake failure.
He added that the gas bowser had breached the road divider and collided with a vehicle coming from an opposite direction, forcing both of them to fall into the ditch.
After the collision, the fire erupted and engulfed both vehicles. The bowser was on its way to Faisalabad from Rawalpindi at Motorway M2.
The bodies of the deceased have been shifted to Kallar Kahar Trauma Centre.
