Islamabad: Pakistan is presently experiencing the third wave of coronavirus which is said to be deadlier and more contagious than previous two waves.

According to National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), around 1,194 cases of coronavirus were reported while 57 people succumbed to the disease in the last 24 hours, taking the total death toll to 21,633.
The total number of cases has reached 939,931.
As many as 875,581 patients have recovered from the disease with 2,760 critical cases.
Punjab
The number of patients swelled to 343,703 in the province with 10,479 causalities.
Sindh
The number of infections has surged to 327,021 in the province, while the death toll has reached 5,220.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
The confirmed cases have surged to 135,569 in the province with 4,203 casualties.
Balochistan
There are 26,152 confirmed cases while 292 patients have died from the infection so far.
AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan
There are 19,723 coronavirus cases in the AJK while the death toll has reached 562. On the other hand, there are 5,698 cases in GB with 108 coronavirus deaths.
Islamabad
There are 82,065 cases in the capital city while 769 people have lost their lives.
