Pakistan to participate in FIFA WC-26 Qualifiers Round-II in Tajikistan
Pakistani team's match against Tajikistan is scheduled today at 8:00pm Pakistan time
The national football team left for Tajikistan to play the FIFA World Cup 2026 Qualifiers Round-II match.
The Pakistani team was supposed to depart for Dushanbe on a chartered flight of a private airline, but the chartered flight was stopped due to a technical glitch.
Efforts were made by the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) for the departure of the football team to Dushanbe, after which the national football team left for Tajikistan with the special interest of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
The national football team left for Tajikistan on a special aircraft of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) from Noor Khan Air Base, where the Pakistani team's match against Tajikistan is scheduled today at 8:00pm Pakistan time.
It is pertinent to note that the Pakistan team will play this last match of FIFA World Cup 2026 qualifiers round.
