The passports of such Pakistanis will be canceled and will not be renewed

Lahore: The Ministry of Interior decided not to issue passports to Pakistanis seeking asylum abroad.
In the context of national security and safety, the Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has taken a major step and decided not to issue passports to Pakistanis seeking asylum abroad.
Following the instructions of Mohsin Naqvi, the Ministry of Interior issued a letter which was sent to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other relevant authorities.
It has been stated in the post that all such Pakistanis who seek refuge in other countries on any basis will not get passports. The passports of such Pakistanis will be canceled and will not be renewed.
