Pakistan Railways slashes fares by 25pc on Eid
The discount will not be applicable on Eid special trains, but only on current bookings
Lahore: The Pakistan Railways has announced to reduces fares by 25 percent on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha.
According to railway officials, the reduced fares will be applied to all passenger trains operated by the railways. The discount will be available exclusively for existing bookings, allowing passengers to book tickets at a lower price.
The discount will not be applicable on Eid special trains, but only on current bookings.
Earlier on May 21, the railway department had announced a significant reduction in train fares in various classes in view of the fall in diesel prices.
