Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif urges the PML-N lawmakers to fully participate in the budget session and present their proposals


Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday expressed the resolve to provide relief to the common man in the upcoming budget.
Chairing the Parliamentary Party meeting of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz in Islamabad on Wednesday, he said relief measures will be taken for the country's workers, farmers, and the salaried class.
The Prime Minister urged the PML-N lawmakers to fully participate in the budget session and present their proposals. He said the Parliamentary Party should give an effective and logical response to the false and negative propaganda regarding the budget.
Shehbaz Sharif emphasized the need to work hard for the economic stability of Pakistan. He said we have to provide equal opportunities for basic health, higher education, and progress to all the citizens.
He said the provision of employment to talented human resource is one of the top priorities of the government. He pledged to ensure training and proper education of the youth in the Information Technology sector. He also called for employing more efforts for women's empowerment and the provision of jobs to them.
Highlighting the importance of investment, the Prime Minister said he always talked of investment rather than loans during foreign visits. He said peace and stability are vital for investment. He said dignified nations always change their destiny with their hard work and passion.
Shehbaz Sharif said we have to build our bright future by ourselves, given the ground realities of Pakistan and learning from China and the rest of the developed countries.
Talking about the achievements of his economic team, the Prime Minister said inflation was significantly reduced, the currency strengthened, and the stock market showed an upward trajectory. He said with the blessing of Allah Almighty, positive outcomes of the hard work of the government's economic team have started coming in.
Shehbaz Sharif said his government successfully steered the country out of economic crises towards stability. He said it is a known fact that we saved Pakistan's economy at the cost of our politics. He said with the blessing of Allah Almighty, we averted default under the leadership of Mian Nawaz Sharif.
Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb briefed the meeting about the budget.
The lawmakers expressed their complete confidence in the leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and the budget prepared by his team.
The meeting was attended by federal ministers and parliamentarians belonging to the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz.
