Rescue officials said that the additional personnel of Pakistan Army and Rescue Rawalpindi are busy in extinguishing the fire


Murree: Even after 36 hours, the fire that broke out in the forests of Burori in Murree's Ghora Gali could not be brought under control.
According to the rescue officials, the trees of Sanyo and Nandkot forests are on fire. Due to strong winds, the fire is flaring up again and again.
Rescue officials said that the additional personnel of Pakistan Army and Rescue Rawalpindi are busy in extinguishing the fire. While the officials of Murree District Administration, Forest Department and Rescue Murree are also participating in the operation.
Rescue officials stated that the firefighting operation has been divided into five sectors. The fire at some places has been brought under control, however, the operation is underway to control the fire completely.
They also told that the district administration has directed all the concerned agencies to be on high alert.
