The prime minister office says that the diesel price has been cut down by Rs2.33 per litre for the next fortnight
Islamabad: A big relief for the public as the federal government slashed the price of petrol, diesel and other petroleum products.
The latest reports suggested that the prime minister office slashed petrol price by Rs10.20 per litre and diesel by Rs2.33 per litre
The federal government had cut down the petrol price by Rs4.74 per litre on April 1.
The latest cut in the prices of the petroleum products took place two-day after presentation of the federal budget. The federal budget for FY2024-25 had suggested increase in the ley on the petroleum products.
The new prices will be effective from tonight till the next review on first of July, 2024.
