Police in Khyber seize drugs worth billions
According to the DPO, the value of the seized drugs in the global market is about Rs3.61 billion
Khyber: The police in Khyber recovered drugs worth billions of rupees from the secret compartments of a suspicious truck while conducting an anti-narcotics operation.
According to District Police Officer (DPO) of Khyber district Salim Abbas Kalachi, the police cordoned off a tip-off in Shaks area of Khyber. They recovered 67kg of heroin from the secret compartments of the suspicious truck.
Police stated that the drugs were being transported from Quetta to Khyber. At the same time, as a result of the operation, three suspects were arrested and transferred to Jamrud police station for investigation.
According to the DPO, the value of the seized drugs in the global market is about Rs3.61 billion.
