Lahore: The heat intensity has been disrupted in Lahore and other cities of the province and the weather has become pleasant.
Thick black clouds appeared in Lahore and surrounding areas and the rain in the provincial capital broke the heat. The rain made the weather pleasant in the areas of Mall Road, Jail Road, and Shadman.
After the rain in the city, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Lahore Rafia Haider issued an alert to all the concerned institutions.
Rafia Haider ordered to keep the Water And Sanitation Agency (WASA) machinery active and that Lahore Waste Management Company (LWMC) ensure sanitation arrangements after rain. Rainwater should not stay in low-lying areas and underpasses. People would not walk under trees and walls and stay away from power lines and poles.

According to the instructions of Managing Director (MD) WASA Ghufran Ahmed, all staff and machinery should be on full alert. All generators should be kept on standby and active, and the screens of all disposal stations should be kept completely clean.
On the other hand, the heavy rain in Hafizabad also made the weather pleasant. Due to the rain, the intensity of the heat has decreased and the citizens have breathed a sigh of relief. The mercury has come down also in Peshawar due to rain.
While, the rule of heat in Sindh continues, the mercury is likely to go up to 47 degrees Celsius in Dadu, 46 degrees in Mohenjo Daro, and 44 degrees Celsius in Sukkur.
