Karachi: Today (June 21, 2024) is going to be the longest day and the shortest night of the year which is known as summer solstice.
Chief Meteorologist Sardar Sarfraz said that the day in Islamabad will be 14 hours 32 minutes and the night will be nine hours 28 minutes.
According to Sardar Sarfraz, the day in Karachi will be 13 hours 41 minutes and the night will be 10 hours 19 minutes.
He further stated that after July 1, the day length starts getting shorter, with December 22 being the shortest day and longest night of the year.
