The latest prediction shows that the thunderstorm and rain will start in Karachi from June 22 (tomorrow)

Karachi: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) on Friday forecast thunderstorms and rain in Karachi starting from June 22.
Chief Meteorologist Sardar Sarfaraz predicted that suburban areas of Karachi could experience rain on June 22 or 23, with temperatures expected to rise above 38°C in the coming three days.
The MET office reported that Larkana recorded 42mm of rain since last night. Shadadkot, Shikarpur, Jacobabad, and surrounding areas also experienced showers.
Rain accompanied by thunderstorms in parts of Sindh on Friday provided much-needed relief from the heat, bringing down temperatures.
Cities such as Larkana, Shikarpur, Shahdakot, Jacobabad, and other regions in Sindh received rainfall with thunderstorms. In Larkana, the heavy rain severely disrupted the electricity supply, causing 40 feeders of the Sukkur Electric Supply Company (SEPCO) to trip.
