Rupee marginally weakens against dollar in interbank
The local unit settles at Re278.62 after losing 0.11 against the greenback
Karachi: The Pakistani rupee depreciated 0.04 per cent against the US dollar in the interbank market on Monday.
According to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), the local unit settled at 278.62 after losing Re0.11 against the greenback. The rupee settled at Rs278.51 in the interbank market on Friday.
During a shortened previous week, the rupee had remained unchanged against the US dollar as it closed at 278.51, the same as it had closed the week earlier against the greenback.
