Prime Minister Imran Khan has been known among his fans and followers for regularly sharing throwback pictures on Instagram.

On Saturday PM shared his action photo from August 14 1982, 39 years ago — nearly ten years earlier he led the Pakistani cricket team to the World Cup final victory.

With 4.9m followers on Instagram, the Premier occasionally shares photographs from the past to give his Instagram fans a glimpse into his life outside of politics.
Prime Minister Imran Khan wrote the caption of the photo “14 August, 1982 , Lords|Pakistan won that test match against England after 28 years #MemoriesFromPast”
Within seventeen hours of posting, the picture racked up close to 68,000 likes and over 750 comments in which PM Khan's supporters and most ardent admirers praised the “young captain”.
