Karachi: In the 20th match of the sixth season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) played at Sheikh Zayed Stadium Abu Dhabi, Islamabad United beat Lahore Qalandars by 28 runs.

Displaying poor batting performance, in pursuit of Islamabad United's 153-run target, Lahore Qalandars were all out for 124 in the nineteenth over of the match.
Six quick wickets by Shadab Khan's bowlers bought Islamabad United back into the game against Lahore Qalandars.
The United’s bowlers put up an impressive show, with Muhammad Musa leading the way by taking 3 wickets.
Islamabad's innings started disappointingly and half the team piled up 20 runs. Asif Ali and Iftikhar Ahmed played brilliant innings and supported the batting line.
Asif and Iftikhar put on a 123-run partnership for the sixth wicket. Islamabad United scored 152 for 7 in the allotted 20 overs. Asif Ali scored 75 and Iftikhar Ahmed 49 runs.
Lahore's James Faulkner took 3 while Shaheen Shah Afridi and Haris Rauf took two wickets each.
Earlier the day, Islamabad won the toss and elected to bat first.
