At least two people died in a blast outside deputy commissioner’s office on Anscomb Road in Quetta. Four people received injuries, which were later shifted to nearest hospital. One injured is said to be in a critical condition.

According to an eyewitness, the blast took place inside a truck parked near the DC office. Bomb disposal squad official present at the scene said that a time device was planted inside the truck and it went off just before the rally reached there.
Earlier the day, 16 people were also injured in a grenade attack on Sibi's Chakar Road.
