Indian Actress receives death threats over beef dish discussion on show
Sudeepa Chatterjee says represented India in a Bangladeshi show in relation to Eid al-Adha

Mumbai: Indian Bengali actress and host Sudeepa Chatterjee has received death threats for discussing a beef dish during a show.
According to an Indian media report, Sudeepa Chatterjee clarified through a social media post that “I represented India in a Bangladeshi show in relation to Eid al-Adha.
Someone on the show prepared a beef dish. As a host, I discussed the dish with the person, and the video went viral, leading to death threats,”.
The actress explained that she was accused of cooking and even eating beef during the show, which is entirely false. She said she only talked to the person who prepared the dish.
The actress further stated, “I have never cooked, eaten, or even touched beef. Those threatening me should watch the video carefully and tell me where I touched, cooked, or ate beef.”
Sudeepa Chatterjee also wrote that most of those criticizing her haven’t even watched the video and that she is being targeted for political gain.
