The JUI-F chief says they do not accept the elections held on February 8 earlier this year, regretting over current situation about the foreign policy of the country regarding Pakistan-China relations as well as Pakistan and the US ties

Islamabad: JUI-F Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman demanded free and fair re-election in the country, saying that the results of the February 8 elections are not acceptable.
The JUI-F chief demanded that the establishment should stay away from interfering into the elections.
“Our concerns about the PTI are of serious nature. If they want to hold talks with us, we welcome them but we had made it clear before them that a proper environment for the talks must be ensured,” said the JUI-F chief.
However, he said that unfortunately the PTI leadership lacked the focus on the matters.
He expressed these words while addressing a press conference in Islamabad on Sunday.
Maulana Fazl said that the PTI did not announce any proper team for the talks with the JUI-F. The Sunni-Ittehad Council (SIC) chief, he said, was respectable in his views but he said that the unity with the JUI-F was not workable. Fazl was of the view that they are not hesitant about any proper environment for the talks between the JUI-F and the PTI.
The Central Majlis-e-Shura said that the Constitutions have set the limits for the state institutions and they must remain in their limits.
He said they are still following their positive gestures.
The JUI-F chief expressed concerns over poor law and order situation in two provinces of the country. He said that FATA was annexed but the objectives were not achieved.
“Is the state serious about its responsibilities?,” he questioned.
Maulana Fazl also said that the JUI-F wanted stronger relations between Pakistan and China but unfortunately they could not restore the trust of China for investment.
“Congress in the US has doubted this election for some reasons. Though, we understand and the JUI-F is clear on this point that where Pakistan’s state is standing and where is its foreign policy? Is it not failure of our foreign policy?,” said the JUI-F.
“You provided logistic support to the US for fight against Afghanistan for 20 years. Did you not see that? Today, once again, you are making tall claims. Now you talk about launching attack inside Afghanistan? First, tell us whether the fund of the10 per cent of the development projects are not issued to the terrorists in the KPK? Give us right and serious response. Chamman borders, Angor Adda, Kurram Agency border, Jamroz and Bajaur, tough restrictions are being placed on the populations there. Whatever you say for whatever you are doing there, you are doing all this to please the foreign powers. There is no result of such restrictions except killing the local peoples,” he added.
The JUI-F chief said that they would mark August 5, 2019, the day when India committed crime of changing the status of Occupied Kashmir, as a black day. He also said that they were supporting Palestine no matter what the westerns power or America was saying.
“Supporting Israel is a war crime. The International Court of Justice must take notice of Israeli violations,” he demanded.
The JUI-F, he said, wanted to warn all the Muslims countries to perform their duty, pointing out that the rulers of the Muslim Ummah failed the Palestinians.
