Kazakhstan Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov and others welcome Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif at the Nur Sultan Nazarbayev International Airport


Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday reached Astana to attend twin Summits of SCO Council of Heads of State and SCO plus.
He was received by Kazakhstan Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov and others at the Nur Sultan Nazarbayev International Airport.
Earlier in the day, the PM also appreciated Tajik President Emomali Rahmon's personal commitment and leadership to strengthen Pakistan-Tajikistan friendship.
In a statement on the social media platform X, he said that we discussed bilateral cooperation across a wide range of areas.
The Prime Minister said that our meeting also focused on prospects for enhanced regional connectivity.
Shehbaz Sharif also extended to him a warm invitation to visit Pakistan.
