Following bungled cosmetic surgery, Chinese celebrity Gao Liu's nose tip fallen off
Gao Liu, a Chinese actress and singer shared photos of her frightening post-cosmetic surgery with her millions of fans. The photos after being shared sparked a heated discussion online after the images revealed that the tip of her nose has rotted away and no longer with her nose.

The Chinese performer underwent a nose job that involved removing her cartilage but the operation went unsuccessful, leaving Ms Gao with severe nose infection. Horrific images shared at China's Twitter-like Weibo show the woman's damaged nose with its black, rotten tip and dead flesh.
She wrote to her five million followers that the incident had left her feeling desperate and will cost her several acting jobs.
“I had thought that these four hours (of surgery) would make me more beautiful, but I didn’t realise that they would be the beginning of a nightmare,” she wrote.
Gao said she opted surgery with aim that it would improve her acting career but a “micro-adjustment” to fix cartilage onto the tip of her nose left it infected, requiring repeated follow-up surgeries, she added.
The artist was hospitalised for 61 days and lost some $61,800 in entire process.
Plastic surgery is booming in China, with over 15.2 million patients estimated to have gone under the knife last year, according to a market research report.
