Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz takes notice and seeks report from the local police on the incident


Lahore: In a shocking incident, private TV anchor Ayesha Jehanzeb has been subjected to violence by her husband, Haris.
According to Ayesha, an argument with her husband escalated into a physical assault.
Following a medical examination, she filed a case against Haris under charges of attempted murder.
The police confirmed that a case has been registered against Haris. They also stated that he has been arrested and an investigation is currently underway.
In response to the incident, Chief Minister of Punjab Maryam took immediate notice and demanded a report from the police. She emphasized that women are a "red line" and that any form of violence against them will not be tolerated.
