The consumers using 200 to 500 units will get solar panels on payment of 10 percent compensation

Lahore: The Punjab government has decided to start the distribution of solar panels across the province on Independence Day i.e. August 14 under its announced plan.
Under the plan announced by the Punjab government, free solar panels will be given to consumers who consume up to 200 units of electricity.
Apart from this, the consumers using 200 to 500 units will get solar panels on payment of 10 percent compensation, and 90 percent of the amount will be paid by the Punjab government.
In this regard, the Punjab government has decided on all the details of the solar panel supply scheme.
Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz said that her mission is to give relief to the people. ‘There are difficult situations but we are and will be with the people’.
Maryam Nawaz stated that the supply of solar panels will reduce the electricity bill by 40 percent.
It is pertinent to note that last week, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, while taking a big decision regarding giving relief to the people, announced to give 200 units of electricity to the consumers using solar and that there is a lot of trouble on the rising electricity bills. ‘Seeing the increasing bills, I am aware of the problems of the poor, I am with the poor and I will always stand for their rights’.
On July 8, Maryam Nawaz approved giving solar panels to consumers using up to 500 units of electricity.
