Chairman PCB Mohsin Naqvi stated that there will be no compromise on discipline

Lahore: Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Mohsin Naqvi Monday announced major decisions to improve cricket and team performance.
According to the announcement of the PCB, Gary Kirsten, and Jason Gillespie have also been included in the selection committee. Every player will have to undergo a fitness test every three months.
The player must play domestic cricket. It has been decided not to lessen the central contract amount for now but the duration of the central contract will be for one year.
The central contract will be reviewed every year depending on the players' performance and skills. The inclusion of players in various categories will be under the prescribed procedure. The technical procedure for issuing NOCs for playing leagues will be fixed. The NOCs will be issued to players who fulfill the criteria.
Chairman PCB Mohsin Naqvi stated that there will be no compromise on discipline. There should be consensus within the team, grouping players will not be tolerated.
He added that management should take strict action on grouping. The players who do not follow discipline will not have a place in the team. ‘Even my recommendation about any player for violation of discipline should not be accepted’.
