Meteorological Department has predicted that spell of monsoon rains will continue till July 25 across Punjab


Lahore: Monsoon rains in Lahore and different parts of the country turned the weather pleasant.
The spell of rains that started yesterday in various areas of Punjab, including Lahore, continues today (Wednesday). In the early morning, there was a drizzle in various areas of the provincial capital, which brought a pleasant change in the weather.
In addition to Lahore, various cities of Punjab including Gagomandi, Arifwala, Bahalingar, Hujra Shah Moqim and Renala Khurd also accumulated water in the low-lying areas due to heavy rain.
On the other hand, clouds also rained in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and Karachi, and the heat wave broke as the temperature fell.
The Meteorological Department has predicted that spell of monsoon rains will continue till July 25 across Punjab.
According to the weather forecasters, the weather in Lahore is likely to remain cloudy today, while the intensity of heat and humidity will also be sustained. There is a possibility of drizzle at different times of the day, while there may be light rain at some places late at night.
According to the data of the meteorological department, the minimum temperature of the city is 29 while the maximum temperature can go up to 36 degrees centigrade. Compared to the previous day, the wind will blow at a lower speed today, while the weather is likely to remain cloudy and rain intermittently for the next few days.
