Rumpus in NA: Opposition mulls bringing non-confidence motion against Asad Qaiser
Islamabad: The joint opposition in the National Assembly has begun efforts to constitute a committee to formulate strategy to bring no-confidence motion against Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser.

The move follows mayhem in the lower house on Tuesday when members from both treasury and opposition benches exchanged abusive language and hurled objects on each other during the speech of Leader of Opposition Mian Shehbaz Sharif.
Sources told GNN that the names of MNAs from Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Sardar Ayyaz Sadiq and Rana Sana Ullah, PPP MNAs Shazia Marri, Naveed Qamar, and Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, and two members from JUI are expected to be part of the committee.
The committee would contact other opposition members for joint strategy against the NA speaker besides deciding time for the move.
Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser has condemned un-parliamentary attitude of government and opposition members and barred entry of lawmakers who were involved into the scuffle in the lower house of parliament.
The parliamentarians include Mr. Ali Gohar Khan, Chaudhry Hamid Hameed, Sheikh Rohale Asghar, Mr. Faheem Khan, Mr. Abdul Majeed Khan, Mr. Ali Nawaz Khan and Syed Agha Rafiullah.
Speaker constitutes committee for reconciliation
A four-member committee constituted by Speaker Asad Qaiser met the opposition members to reconcile and move forward with the proceedings of ongoing session in a democratic way, but opposition members avoided to discuss the matter at once, saying they would first contact with their leaders.
Chief Whip Aamir Dogar, Ali Muhammad Khan, Khalid Magsi and Iqbal Muhammad Ali, who represented the Speaker, conveyed the opposition members to work on a code of conduct to 'run the smooth affairs of assembly business'.
