Faisalabad: A middle-age woman and her daughter in 20s were shot dead by their ex-family member in Muhmmadabad locality of Faisalabad on Wednesday.

Preliminary police inquiries showed that the suspect entered the house of his ex-wife on Satyana Road, exchanged words his mother-in-law and wife, opened fire on them and fled.
The victims identified as Farzana, 57, and Sehar, 27, suffered critical wounds and were shifted to a near-by hospital.
Police said the victims died of their bullet wounds. Police shifted the bodies for autopsies and is now investigating the case.
