US lawmakers boycott Israeli PM's address in Congress
Kamala Harris was among those who didn’t attend Netanyahu’s address
Washington: Over 96 US lawmakers boycotted Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's address to the joint session of Congress during his visit to the United States.
Those who chose not to attend Netanyahu's address include US Democratic Presidential nominee Kamala Harris.
Even many of those who attended were critical of the Israeli Prime Minister due to unabated Israeli military aggression against innocent Palestinians.
The only Palestinian-American lawmaker, Representative Rashida Tlaib attended the address by doning a traditional Palestinian keffiyeh, holding a sign reading 'war criminal' on one side, and 'guilty of genocide' on the other.
