Price of 10 grams of gold has increased by Rs172 to Rs216,650


Karachi: The prices of gold recorded a slight increase in the country on Monday under the influence of the global market.
According to All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Association (APGJA), with an increase of Rs200, the price of per tola gold in the country has settled at Rs252,700.
While, the price of 10 grams of gold has increased by Rs172 to Rs216,650.
According to the association, with an increase of $4 in the international market, per ounce gold became 2,390 dollars, while the price of per tola silver remained at Rs2,860.
It is pertinent to note that last year in Pakistan, the method of determining the price of gold was changed, according to which the price of gold was set 20 dollars per ounce higher than the international market rate.
