Accused Hassan Shah and his accomplice Rafique were arrested from Peshawar
Lahore: Hassan Shah, the mastermind of the gang who honey-trapped playwright Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar and demanded ransom, was arrested along with his accomplice.
According to the police, the accused Hassan Shah and his accomplice Rafique were arrested from Peshawar and further investigation of the accused is going on.
According to the police, the suspect is the main character of a group consisting of 12 members including women, and 12 accused including the woman have already been arrested.
It is pertinent to note that there was a robbery and kidnapping incident with Khalil-ur-Rehman. According to the First Information Report (FIR), the accused tortured Khalil, took away his mobile phone, watch, and cash money while also transferring 250,000 rupees from the ATM card.
