50 percent of total crimes in UAE are committed by Pakistanis


Islamabad: It has been revealed that Pakistanis are involved in 50 percent of the total crimes committed in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
A meeting of the Senate Standing Committee on Overseas Pakistanis was held under the chairmanship of Senator Zeeshan Khanzada, in which the committee sought the details of 4,000 employment companies.
During the meeting, the Secretary of the Ministry of Overseas said that currently, two million Pakistanis send $7 billion of foreign exchange annually from Saudi Arabia. An agreement has been signed with Saudi Arabia regarding workers in recent days, according to which the Middle Eastern country demanded that beggars, sick, and people without any skills should not be sent.
Officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs have revealed that Pakistanis are the most involved in criminal activities abroad. 50 percent of the total crimes in the UAE are committed by Pakistanis. Due to the attitudes of Pakistani citizens, countries prefer workers from other nationalities.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has further stated that 35 percent of those going abroad are detected when they arrive at the airport. Secretary Direct Immigration is worldwide, Saudi Arabia has asked for 10,000 bike delivery boys.
