Islamabad: Speaker of National Assembly Asad Qaiser has said that it is right of opposition parties to move a no-confidence motion against him.

While informally talking to media, speaker national assembly denied the accusations of being biased and said that he will run the parliament as per rules and regulations.
“Chaos in House was an unfortunate incident. Everyone should listen to others’ opinion but let the people decide about the budget. Both government and opposition should be considerate of parliament’s decorum.
Referring to the decision of barring seven lawmakers from entering the house, Asad Qaiser said that the decision was taken after watching footages.
“I don’t have personal enmity with anyone. The decision was taken to maintain the sanctity of parliament,” he said.
The speaker said that Prime Minister Imran Khan didn’t stop him from taking action against any federal minister.
“I am in contact with opposition leaders including Bilawal Bhutto and Shehbaz Sharif to run the House,” he added.
Earlier it was reported that following the chaos and ruckus in National Assembly, the Opposition decided to jointly move a no-confidence motion against the house's speaker, Asad Qaiser.
