Karachi/Lahore: A new spell of monsoon has been predicted in the city of Karachi.
According to the Department of Meteorology, a series of strong monsoon winds from the Arabian Sea is affecting Sindh. There is a possibility of rain in the suburbs of Karachi on Saturday, while some drizzle and light rain is expected in the city.
Weather forecasters said that from today to August 6, there may be rain in Karachi with strong winds and thunder, during this time moderate to heavy rain is also possible at a few places in Karachi.
According to the Meteorological Department, the weather forecast in the city is cloudy and pleasant, but the minimum temperature today is 27.5 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature is 31 to 33 degrees Celsius. Winds are blowing and humidity was recorded at 92 percent.
While the sun and clouds will continue to be visible throughout the day in the provincial capital Lahore.
According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature of the city is likely to go up to 26 and the maximum is 33 degrees Celsius. The current temperature of the city has reached 31 degrees Celsius.
According to the data, the wind speed was recorded at 10 km per hour, while the humidity in the air reached 71 percent.
According to the weather forecasters, there is a 10 percent chance of rain in Lahore city today. The monsoon rains will continue intermittently in various districts of Punjab including Lahore till August 6
