The program will utilize a state-of-the-art centralized kitchen to prepare 60,000 meals

Islamabad: The 'Prime Minister's School Meals Program' will begin in federal schools from tomorrow, providing meals to primary school students.
From Monday, government primary schools will start the 'Prime Minister's School Meals Program,' which uses advanced fireless cooking technology as part of the Prime Minister's National Nutrition Initiative.
The program will utilize a state-of-the-art centralized kitchen to prepare 60,000 meals. Meals will be cooked using steam cooking technology in food-grade utensils, then placed in insulated containers for delivery to schools.
This initiative will benefit students in 217 primary schools across the federal area. The availability of meals is expected to increase school attendance, improving both education and health standards.
