Bangladesh army chief says will 'form an interim government'

(AFP): Bangladesh's army chief Waker-Uz-Zaman on Monday announced to form an interim government. He was addressing the nation on Monday afternoon, a military spokesman told AFP without giving further details.
Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina resigned on Monday and fled the country, multiple sources said, as more people were killed in some of the worst violence since the birth of the South Asian nation more than five decades ago.
