Following the president's directive, a letter has been sent to the Cabinet Division


Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari has approved the prestigious Hilal-e-Imtiaz to be awarded to athlete Arshad Nadeem for his record-breaking performance in the javelin throw at the Paris Olympics 2024.
The President Zardari will present this high civil award to Arshad Nadeem in a special ceremony recognizing his outstanding contribution to sports, as stated by the President's Secretariat on Saturday. The award will be conferred under Article 259 (2) of the Constitution, which allows the president to honor Pakistani citizens for their exceptional services in various fields.
Following the president's directive, a letter has been sent from Aiwan-e-Sadr to the Cabinet Division.
Meanwhile, President has lauded Arshad Nadeem for making the nation proud with his incredible performance in athletics. "Nadeem’s remarkable achievement on the international stage has brought great honor to the country," the President's Secretariat shared in a press release.
