Arshad Nadeem to receive grand welcome at Lahore airport tonight
Athlete will land at Allama Iqbal International Airport at 1pm through a direct flight from Paris airport
Lahore: Arshad Nadeem, who won gold medal at the Paris Olympics, will receive a grand reception at the Lahore airport on Saturday (tonight).
The statement authorities will welcome the athlete the airport.
According to the reports, Arshad Nadeem will arrive at Allama Iqbal International Airport through a direct flight from Paris at 1 am.
The national hero will be escorted out of the airport in a double-decker bus provided by the Punjab Tourism Department, offering citizens a chance to catch a glimpse of the “Golden Boy”.
Lahore Police prepared a comprehensive plan to ensure VIP protocol for Arshad Nadeem.
In addition to personnel from the elite force, a significant police contingent will be deployed at the airport and will accompany Arshad Nadeem's bus as it travels through the city.
PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has instructed party leaders and workers to gather at the airport to welcome Arshad Nadeem.
Before departing for the Paris Airport, Arshad Nadeem made a stop at the Pakistan Embassy in Paris, where he was greeted with patriotic slogans and drumbeats. Those gathered had the opportunity to take selfies with the Olympic champion.
During his stay in Paris, Arshad Nadeem also visited the iconic Eiffel Tower, where he was warmly received by admirers who requested autographs and photos with the national hero.
