Thousands of supporters gathered to catch a glimpse of their champion

Lahore: Javelin superstar Arshad Nadeem, the Olympic gold medallist from the Paris Games, returned home to a hero’s welcome at Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport in the early hours of Sunday.
Thousands of supporters, including those from his hometown of Mian Channu, Chak 101, gathered to catch a glimpse of their champion.
Top officials including the provincial and federal ministers, the Olympic hero’s family and his fans in large number arrived at Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport to receive Nadeem.
