Sardar Muhammad Bakhsh Mehr said that Arshad will be awarded Rs2.5 million by sports department


Karachi: Sindh Sports Minister Sardar Muhammad Bakhsh Mehr has announced a reward of Rs3.5 million for gold medalist Arshad Nadeem.
Arshad Nadeem had a record throw of 92.97 meters against Javelin thrower at the Paris Olympics and for the first time in Pakistan's 77-year history, a single man won a gold medal for the country.
Prizes have been showered on Arshad Nadeem, who brought the Olympic gold medal to Pakistan, now Sindh Sports and Youth Affairs Minister Sardar Muhammad Bakhsh Mehr has announced a reward of Rs3.5 million for him.
Sardar Muhammad Bakhsh Mehr said that Arshad will be awarded Rs2.5 million by the sports department of the Sindh government and ‘I announce to give Rs1 million from my side’.
The sports minister stated that he is proud for Arshad Nadeem for winning the gold medal in the Olympics and will meet him soon.
