Islamabad: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) Monday summoned Defense Secretary, Interior Secretary, Inspector General (IG) Islamabad, Director General (DG) Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) in the case of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Azhar Mashwani's two missing brothers.

According to the details, IHC Justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb heard the petition filed for the recovery of Azhar Mashwani's two missing brothers, in which the petitioner's lawyers and the Assistant Attorney General appeared in the court.

During the hearing, the Assistant Attorney General said that the report of the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Interior has already been filed and the report of the security agencies has stated that nothing is known about the two brothers.

Justice Miangul Hasan expressed his indignation at the position of the Assistant Attorney General and said that he will start contempt of court proceedings against all the parties.

Later, the court summoned Defense Secretary, Interior Secretary, IG Islamabad, and DG FIA in personal capacity on August 15.
